‘Under One Sky’, great new video by Malcolm Paterson which vividly evokes the atmosphere and the benefits of the Bimblebox art, science and nature camps, the well-grown brainchild of Jill Sampson.
From watching this film, all you wonderful folk who contributed to our pre-Covid Chuffed fundraiser to upgrade the camp site can take heart that your effort was well worth while.
‘Irreplaceable’
This is the third of our Bimblebox videos, produced by videographer Mark Doyle and narrated by Professor Ian Lowe.
Paola’s Journey
’Paola’s Journey’ is the second of our special Bimblebox videos, produced for us by videographer Mark Doyle.
It follows Refuge co-owner and TBA President, Paola Cassoni, as she heads home after months in COVID-19 lockdown in Italy and then hotel quarantine in Brisbane. On the way, she shares her story of the Refuge beginnings, her thoughts about its value, the threat it faces from Clive Palmer’s Waratah Coal… and why it must be saved.
Saving Bimblebox
This is the first of five videos we have commissioned from videographer Mark Doyle to tell the Bimblebox story. This video, ‘Saving Bimblebox’, is narrated by Prof. Ian Lowe, and will give you a glimpse of why Bimblebox Nature Refuge must not be allowed to be destroyed for the Galilee Coal Project planned by Clive Palmer’s Waratah Coal.
Bimblebox with Bob Brown
This 5-minute video depicts the history and the possible dire future of Bimblebox Nature Refuge. Our thanks to Tangible Media, Bob Brown, Sonya Duus, Mark Doyle and Karl Hoch. Please click on “HD” in the lower right-hand corner to ensure maximum colour and sound quality.
Bimblebox Journey 1 by Wendy Rogers captured the impressions of a group of concerned people when they visited Bimblebox.
